Absenz Syrup can be taken with or without food but try to take it at the same time each day. Follow your doctor`s instructions carefully to get the maximum benefit. The dosage depends on your condition and how you react to the medicine. Your doctor will recommend the correct dose for you. Even if you feel good, take as long as your doctor tells you to take it. If you stop or forget to take it, your seizures may worsen.Â
Common side effects of this drug include dizziness, headache, drowsiness, loss of appetite, diarrhea, gastrointestinal upset, nausea and vomiting. Side effects are more common in the first few weeks and usually subside as your body gets used to the drug. Most do not require medical attention, but they can be serious.
